And there's an old lady who's as annoying as hell following me around.

KOTOR2: 'So, I'm some uberpowerful guy/girl everyone wants to kill. Werewolftheforsaken? I'm the head of the evil bad guys! OMG! Oh, and that little punk who defeated my reign of terror? EAT THROWN LIGHTSABER!' KOTOR1: 'Well, I'm just an ordinary guy/girl sucked up in an intergalactic war. Your character had dozens of layers of backstory, very dark, et cetera. KOTOR2 was a REALLY complex plot, involving at least 3 different Sith factions and the Exchange. I mean, it was basically about a Sith lord with a superweapon. Big twist in the middle, but still a pretty simple story overall. I mean, KOTOR was a pretty simple plot, really.

Yeah, the NPC threads were left hanging, and the uber-ending that was planned would have improved the game. So, what let me down was not the big ending that got cut. Luckily, most people use Firefox, but just in case.

So why did it let me down? Well, before I elaborate, I'm going to add lots of extra crap, because even with spoiler tags, which I'm not using, if you wave your mouse over the title of the thread in IE, you still get the spoilers. I thought the interface was far better than the first, most of the characters were more compelling, and the atmosphere was excellent. It may come out as one, but I will say that I definately enjoyed KOTOR2. Before I start, I'd just like to say, this isn't trying to be a fanboy gripe.
